kid run business!

Exchange Your Gently Used Items for Sweet Treats Today!

Click now to arrange for us to pick up your gently used items.

Here’s How It Works:

We are sisters who are interested in starting a business. We also are kids who enjoy the environment and want to help keep it clean and clutter-free. Let us give you some treats in exchange for your used goods!

What We Accept

  • Clothing, Toys, and Books
  • Household Goods, and Small Furniture Items
  • Working Electronics

Note: We are not able to accept broken or stained items, or large furniture.

Sweet Treats

In return for donating, we provide the following menu of options for you to choose from:

  • Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Coconut Marshmallow Cookies (Might sound weird but it’s so good! In our opinion at least.)
  • Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Oreo White Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Peanut Butter with Chocolate and Reese’s Chips Cookies
  • Brownies

(If you prefer to donate without receiving treats just let us know)

What We Do

We take the things you give to us and sell them to earn money. What we are unable to sell, we repurpose or donate.

Our goal is to build a business that helps give a new purpose to items that can benefit others, and also avoid items going to the landfill if we can help it.

What do you accept?

What do you have? If it’s in good shape, and can fit in our parents car/SUV than we’re likely to take it! Household items, clothing, small furniture, toys, and books accepted. We are not able to accept larger items such as large furniture, or broken/damaged items.

Do you pick up the items?

Yes. If you are located in the greater Sacramento area, within 20 miles of the state Capital, we will arrange to pick up your items.

What if I have special dietary needs?

If you have any special dietary restrictions, such as food allergies, or food preferences such as dairy or gluten-free, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate. If you aren’t able to find a treat from the list that works for you, consider donating your items without a treat exchange, or consider giving our treats to a loved one who does not have dietary restrictions.

What do you do with the donated items?

Our goal is to help reduce your clutter and make sure your stuff doesn’t end up in a landfill. We take the items donated and advertise them on platforms such as FB Marketplace, OfferUp, and Craigslist. Any items that do not sell online, we attempt to sell through rummage and garage sales. Items that do not sell in general, we look to donate to worthy causes, or find a new home for through charitable giving.

How do I schedule a pick up?

Click the link at the top of this page or click here to fill out the form. Pick your desired top treats, let us know approximately how much you have to give, and we’ll arrange a pick up! We’ll drop off the treats at the same time we pick up your things.

What will you do with the money you earn?

We are kids, and we like kid stuff. So some of the money may be spent on things we like. However, we have big dreams for growing our business and ultimately want to invest in our business, and future. This may include more options for treat making, and saving funds for college.
